| No proof July 26
No one can prove that I am not a woman. Only I can recognise myself as a woman. It is within and cannot be proven externally. Being is simply being. Inner being is not matter. It is consciousness. It cannot be translated into matter, words, or feelings. Consciousness can use and inhabit matter, such as the human body. Matter cannot generate consciousness and has no consciousness of its own. Otherwise, matter would have created the consciousness of a man for me, since my body is male matter. I do not know why my consciousness entered a male body. I do not know why I am a woman and have this body. There are no arguments or proofs. It does not come from the mind or from thinking; there is no logic to it and it cannot be explained. We have no mental access to it. Neither before birth nor after death. It is my certainty, my clarity, my inner truth. Being is within. The experience is within. There is no common ground between trans people and cis people. Experiences cannot be shuffled back and forth. When I am asked how I prove that I am a woman on the inside, I ask in return: how do you prove that you are a woman or a man? Whether it be because of the body, or because of the sexual organs. But that is no proof. It is identification with the body. But we are not our bodies! The inner and the outer do not have to match. But most of the time they do. Then it is not so easy to recognise that we are not our bodies. I do not have to explain myself, justify myself, prove myself! One simply has to accept and tolerate me. Quite simple, isn’t it? |
