Please do not use booking portals. It is more expensive there (212.-). If there are no vacancies listed there, this is not necessarily true. The only platform I recommend is: Hotel.social, which shows the website, email address, and phone number of the accommodation.
I do not have any cancellation policies.

Breakfast
There is homemade sourdough bread made from freshly ground organic spelt from here. “Beurre français au lait crue bio”. Various preserves. Honey from next door. “Tète de Moine” cheese. Fruits and dried fruits. Nuts. Yogurt. Cereals. Tea and coffee from Sirocco. Orange jus.

The rooms
The three large rooms have wooden beds, mattresses made of natural materials, linen sheets, silk-filled duvets, down/feather pillows. Table and seating. A private bathroom with shower and toilet, (one also with a bathtub), hairdryer, various towels.
I cannot always guarantee room requests.

The large west room
It is open to all guests at any time. The highlight is the large fireplace with lounge. Deep windows to sit in invite you to chill out. A large table in the middle is set for breakfast in the morning. Coffee and tea are available here à discrétion. The kitchen area is the chef's domain. Table d'hôte may be available in the evening. Vegetarian, often oven-roasted vegetables with baked potatoes and Greek yogurt, preceded by salad, and starting with an aperitif with guacamole or hummus and olives. Everything is organic whenever possible. But a rack of lamb from the fireplace is also an option ...

Studio
This is where I create my art, the etchings and the paintings, which are also exhibited here and I am happy to show them to you. I also make the brass candlesticks and silver bowls here. There are machines for interior design, tables, beds, and frames, ... and this is also where I sleep.

The house
The farmhouse from before 1800, is not completely renovated, has provisional arrangements and unfinished details, but is fully habitable. Downstairs on the ground floor are two guest rooms: the North Room (which used to be the living room and bedroom) and the East Room (which used to be the kitchen). The West Room is also here (which used to be the stable with three tiny windows). The third new guest room is located in the annex: the south room (there used to be a chicken coop). And upstairs is the studio (which used to be the hayloft). I did most of the work myself, including the furniture, kitchen, lamps... You can see the renovation under Casa.

The garden
It is a round, grassy space to enjoy, with tables, chairs and a fireplace in the middle. Surrounded by trees, bushes, wild roses, flowers... wide meadows and hedges.

Location, position
At the western end of Mont-Soleil, at 1166 meters above sea level, facing sunset, in the middle of a large meadow in a very quiet location. The nearest public transport is the Mont-Soleil cable car (approx. 50 min. on foot) or the train station of Saint-Imier and Sonvilier, or La Chaux-d'Abel and Les Breuleux. (I can pick you up)
